I've been a hair stylist for 20 years and have been using a thumb swivel shear for about as long. The four way movement is so amazing and I have never had any shear cut so smoothly through the hair. I have been cutting hair for 22 years and have had many, expensive shears that were touted as being the best..yadda yadda yadda. My swivel shears are pricey but you have to invest in yourself and get the best tools that are available. Look no further, HH3 5.5 swivel is "ichiban!" number 1! I just bought these yesterday and already gave away two free haircuts just so I could use them more. I'm still getting used to my first pair of swivels, but I am willing to work for free to keep them in my hands, apparently. I'm so excited to explore all the possibilities of many more hand positions that the double swivel will allow me. I already love the increased thumb speed for cutting texture into the hair, and how comfortable every perimeter angle is becoming.
