Licensed in 2010, through the trade school program in Texas high schools. Began a career bright eyed and bushy tailed at 16 inside a corporate owned TONI & GUY. Inside the Woodlands Mall. Shampooing, cutting hair out of chairs, scrubbing baseboards, and pulling in strangers to let me cut their hair in the extensive and strict tigi education program for 2 years. Completed the intermediate level program. And tier 2 on the floor stylist with a full book. To move on to get licensed in Alabama and Tennessee. Working for small boutique shop while in college Story Laine. learning color. And onto a barbershop in Tennessee gaining a classic traditional barbers education from Next Gen barbershop in Murfreesboro tn. Complete with 9 step straight razor shaves and warm lather edge ups. Thoroughly enjoyed the barber atmosphere all the while yearning to be full service i moved states back to Houston and directly into suite rental in a salon with education. Always seeking opportunity to be fed in my craft. In an industry the is ever evolving and recycling/upcycling with new twist on classics. Being an individual easily inspired by color lines and education, I've found my forever career and passion. Childhood was filled with dreams of being a painter. Starting with acrylic and oil the transition to color. Starting with canvas the transition to hair strands. I believe cosmetology is the study of cosmos as it relates to the human experience. The hair is an antenna tuning us just right that someone can genuinely and realistically connect to the divine. The technician (stylist) must be proficient flexible and educated to form that connect for each unique individual that we come in contact with My passion is to give others the foundation that breaks fear. the ability to create confidently. Make professional educated decisions/ recommendations that is not repeated regurgitated information. Expanding my own knowledge base. Pushing my own boundaries. Surrounding myself with those greater than myself and contributing my individual expertise, experience to the collective.

Whether it's the cover of Vogue, New York Fashion week, or Back Stage on Broadway you will find our shears going to work, making the world we live in a more beautiful place.
